OVER DUE!

Since my dear brother is a slacker and not taking this blog thing seriously, it has fallen me to catch you all up.

First, can I just say what a magical place Hires Big H on 4th south is?  Oh my lands, best burger in the history of burgers.  And I'm not even a huge hamburger person.  But the very most exciting thing about this place is the ice cream.  That milkshake was heavenly!  The perfect thickness and just enough chocolate to be delicious.  It was a lot like my major- just the right combination of science and subjectivity.  Cory's major on the other hand is completely subjective.  Before we went to Hires that night, I went to wait for him where his class was.  It was creative writing; I guess that they were critiquing each others assignments...um what the what?  It was hard for me to listen to because there are NO RULES!  Well, I guess there are some, but they don't always apply, or it's ok to break them if it sounds good, and they are really nebulous.  No thank you!

So then this week we went to The Pie.  For those of you who don't know, The Pie is legend.  It's one of those kind of dumpy places that poets love; there are lots of different kinds of people to watch and a really unique atmosphere.  The pizza...not my favorite (but let's be honest, I'm kind of a pizza snob.)  I still like going there though, because of the atmosphere.  At the table next to us we had a young Yuppie looking couple, all in there business suits.  The table next to them had a bunch of frat guys, who were really loud and starting to get drunk (aka, super funny.)  On the other side of us was a group that looked like they were on a group date.  It was good times!
